Buildspect Principal John Coghlan has been elected as committee member for the Victorian Chapter of the Australian Institute of Building (AIB). This continues a Buildspect tradition of 40 years of industry involvement in various bodies including the Master Builders Association, the Building Dispute Practitioners Society, the Australian Society of Building Consultants, and the Society of Construction Law Australia just to name a few.
Mr Coghlan stated “I’m very pleased to continue our firm’s legacy of industry involvement and improvement, and am looking forward to assisting the AIB in tackling the issues faced by our industry and working to improve education and certification within the building industry”.
Founded in 1951, the AIB is the leading institute for building and construction professionals, acknowledged for its ability to bring individuals together who share a common interest in improving the standing of the building profession and their career within Australia and overseas.
